There is much more to yin yoga than simply holding the poses for longer. This training will immerse you in the philosophy and benefits of yin yoga and will prepare you to teach a transformative class for your students.
Yin Yoga is a reflective mind/body practice that targets the connective tissue, joints, meridians and organs of the body. This practice provides an opportunity for a deeper release and transformation of energetic and emotional congestion in the body due to habitual thought patterns, stress and life experiences.
THIS TRAINING PROVIDES:
18 hours of continuing education toward your Yoga Alliance requirement
An enriched understanding of the yin yoga format
How to safely teach and sequence the basic yin poses
How to assist students in finding an appropriate level of safe practice.
The effects of yin yoga on subtle anatomy: meridians, chakras and koshas
How to integrate the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the practice

200-hour basic yoga teacher certification
